Tourette's sufferer Pete - famous for his "gurning" face contortions - called time on their one-month love affair after Nikki constantly accused him of spending too much time with his pals... including several ex-loves.
Just last month she had a run-in with one of his close friends at a party in Pete's hometown of Brighton, East Sussex, when she accused the girl of spitting in her face.
Nikki revealed the bust-up as she laughed and joked with Pete on TV's Jonathan Ross Show. "When I got to the party, I was walking around with Pete's brother Alex and suddenly I felt someone gob in my face," she said. "I was fuming. I thought, 'Oh my God, how can you be be so scaggy and low down?' I couldn't cope, I just had to go."
She stormed from the party and went to another house, but returned "embarrassed" minutes later after she had been told that she was soaked with a vodka-filled water pistol and hadn't been spat at. Later that evening, highly-strung Nikki went to bed early, leaving Pete to socialise alone.
The couple have also had rows about Pete's close relationship with former BB housemate Lea Walker, 35. Pete was furious with Nikki after she allegedly told the curvy blonde - who admits to fancying him - not to contact him after the show. Nikki confessed: "There was this small misunderstanding about Lea. Pete called and said, 'What have you said to Lea? and I said, 'Nothing!' and it turns out that I was meant to have said I didn't want her speaking to Pete any more. Besides, if she had a problem, she should've called me herself, not started moaning to Pete about it."
Pete also once admitted there were aspects to Nikki's personality that put him off - confessing that he didn't want to rush into a full-blown relationship. He revealed: "Her tantrums do make me back off slightly, but I'm being tolerant. I like the tantrums, in a way. I'd like to take things slowly.
"When we got the award for the best kiss in the house, I was like, 'Cool, man!' and it was a great, magical moment. But I was shocked by her reaction when she said she wanted a trophy for herself and stormed off. That p***ed me off a bit."
Chris Jacques said his girlfriend of two years needed to be satisfied every day, adding: "Pete made this big noise about the size of his manhood. But I doubt he will keep her happy for too long. She is the most sex-crazed girl I have ever known."
Pete told OK! magazine: "I would like to have a rave in a field. It would be amazing, with bonfires and dogs running round in the middle of the night. That would be lovely, wouldn't it Nik?"
Rumours the pair had split started circulating last week, with another of their former BB housemates claiming the couple had never had a relationship.
